Arcade map now uses OpenStreetMap.

Recent Picture & Simfile Comments have been added to ZIv profiles.

There will be planned site maintenance at around 10PM UTC+1 2023-04-11 for software upgrades and a server restart.

Downtime is expected to last for around an hour.

New site rule implemented:

4a. Do not update arcade locations with misinformation. Do not vandalize existing information. If you're unsure whether information in a location is accurate, confer with locals in the area.

A script was injected onto a few pages on the site which caused some pages to not load correctly. The pages affected was limited to what admins could edit; in this case the script was injected to a few sections of the homepage and a forum category name.

As a precaution, I have hardened security on the server and changed various passwords and have advised moderators with admin privileges to also change their passwords. I will be adding directives to the site so unapproved scripts will not be able to run.

Alright, here's my current situation with handling official DDR simfiles as moderator on Zenius-I-vanisher... There needs to be an overhaul.

Right now, I've been handling various graphic updates for DDR A, A20, and A20 PLUS with new generic background concepts and adding newly created custom graphics made by other members. So far, they're looking solid.

The main issue right now is that the simfile categories from arcade mixes DDR 2014 and back are already out of date and style, with the following problems:

• Custom banners for X2-2014 need to be overhauled from 256x80 to 512x160
• Category banners need to be updated to match the current format found in A-A20 PLUS
• Various artist/title transliterations need to be fixed
• Background video syncs need to be checked over
• etc. and etc...

If anyone wants to help out with this overhaul project, contact me, and I can cue in other members who are involved with handling content for official DDR simfiles.
