it's the end of another simfile contest and it's also the very last one i will be completing as a minor !!!!! tbh it's crazy that i've been doing these contests ever since i started high school and now i will be an adult in a couple months lol. when i first started participating in these i was a dumb 14 year old who made very awkward charts and now i am a slightly less dumb 17 year old who has made charts that have won rounds in contests!! even recently i have still been improving in very minute details within charting like player comfort and i am very excited to see how my charting style further evolves in the future!! this contest was also notable for me because it was the first time i've stepped one of my originals in a main contest (i will do more of this in the future!!!!!). this file was originally intended for round 3 but i wanted to save it for the end because i wanted to make sure it was as polished as possible because i wanted to release a file that i put my maximum effort into (besides doubles lol those are too time consuming). ever since i heard this song i instantly knew that i wanted to have a really striking pattern in the chorus, so what i came up with was a very cool and awesome crossover freeze doublestep pattern that is very tricky at first glance, but i made sure to include it on every repeat of that motif in the song so that the person playing the chart can fully understand the pattern before the chart is over. i also did not overcomplicate it during the second chorus, instead mirroring it because otherwise the player would have two complicated patterns that they may or may not understand when the chart is over. im very proud of this file and i hope you all enjoy it too!!
