JEHANNEDARC / BlackY

Another pretty late submission from me, this time it was due to a lot of work I had to do in this week (both IRL as well as the update for my pack earlier this week, both of which took a lot of time from me.)

My original idea was to step a song from Bombergirl, KONAMI's spinoff of Bomberman featuring some very cute and uwu art (this is just one example). The songs from that game are made by the BST people! The song that I was going to step was made by Asaki, but unfortunately the song was too repetitive to really fit, it made things quite hard in terms of writing charts. It's a shame because I had a very cute idea for the graphics >~<

This is...yet another Touhou song. But this time at least there are no vocals, instead it's BlackY doing his thing. This is the first time I've stepped a song from him!

With regards to the theme, I quote RemyWiki:
"JEHANNEDARC is a remix of 人形裁判　～ 人の形弄びし少女, stage 3 boss theme of the Touhou Project game 東方妖々夢 ～ Perfect Cherry Blossom."
DDR players might know an other remix of that same song from DDR A (魔理沙は大変なものを盗んでいきました), with that streamy ass 12.

But the charts for this song... Even though I said that I would prefer to take things a bit more easy and relaxed in terms of chart difficulty, the combination of the BPM and the "energy" of the song left me with no other choice than to give it the hard 16 it deserves. Anything easier would have looked out of place really. I highly recommend checking out the EDP as well, it is a pretty different experience compared to the Singles counterpart. 50 fewer notes, but surely it is easier...?

Looking forward to see the reception to this file. It's a bit more early-2022 forced style, and depending on how it (and ELECTRIC MASSIVE DIVER btw) lands, it could definitely shape my strategy in this contest with regards to difficulty in my files. Two 16s in a row is quite the "limit test" isn't it?
