| Comments | Behind the scenes info: The first problem began with the title text for the background. I originally opted for a gray gravel-like texture for the title, but it was blending too much with the streak effects in the image, so I instead went for a simple color design that allowed the text to pop out more on the picture. It came out better than I thought it would, though I'd argue it's a bit plain. This song was good exercise for my thinking cap to come up with creative fun charts for each difficulty. The most unusual of them is the 7 chart, 48 rolls in total. I got the idea for this chart from the medium chart for Hands Up from In the Groove 3. I always wanted to make a chart like that and the opportunity came with this song. The 8 chart has mines to fill in the few voids this song has, where it almost sounds like nothing is happening. I rarely put mines in my Hard/Expert charts and when I do, they're usually just decorative. These however are fully functional, and you will hit them if you're not paying attention. They worked out great though. While this is one of my smaller files, this simfile probably has more video effect instructions than anything else I've made so far. Switching between 4 different videos and flash effects that go with the song's beat. It's a little intense on the eyes but i hope you enjoy it all the same. |
