What's one thing that IIDX is way overdue for? Besides 1080p support a new cabinet. If a "leak" holds out this will be the newest variant of IIDX machines.

The cabinet is indeed legit guys it’s not a fake. Bally is a very reliable source in japan that gets inventory stuff early ahead of release. It was a mistake on their part to leak it and the company took it down for fear that Konami would retaliate for the leak. But the cabinet is real according to multiple sources in the community and from them. IIDX is indeed getting a cabinet refresh after 20 years and it’s nice to see it happen. Konami will probably properly reveal this during a benama livestream for Heroic Verse at some point before the games releases. They also revealed pricing will be around 2.5 million yen($22k USD) so it’s gonna be a pricey cab.

That's a very spiffy-looking cabinet! Looks like the LED ticker got replaced by an LCD screen; curious what it's going to show other than romanized Japanese song titles.

I'm gonna call it:

1. that 2nd screen will be a touchscreen where you can easily toggle on and off mods.
2. IIDX will be due for multi-language support, AKA, we'll FINALLY get English text in IIDX, for the first time ever! (The Gold location test doesn't count!)! I think this is the most likely because we have a looot of IIDX cabinets in the US now, so I think it would be perfectly plausible.
3. (AKA, the most outlandish prediction, with a 5% chance of it being real): Maybe we could start getting a US ISO version, a la DDR?

This look like some awesome ideas for what the new cabinet could bring but at this rate we can just hope to see what Konami is going to bring with the new iteration.
And for the record, I’m still VERY salty that Max 300 is getting the boot after some time. Does that mean with Trip Machine Phoenix getting revived in Rootage also mean the chance of seeing Paranoia Survivor Max return sooner or later?

I'm starting to think the new cab is legit. The IIDX logo on the floor panel is the same as the end of GO OVER WITH GLARE's video. I don't think it's been seen anywhere else.

Bally Pond is also a reliable source and they've confirmed leaks in the past. This will most likely be unveiled at JAEPO.

Looks like the new lightning cabinet model will be revealed soon. It’s real. Machines in Japan are getting notices of a new variant coming.

Very impressive! I’m loving these more than most of Rootage’s default songs already. Even the theme of the game sounds like an epic good time. HV should shape up to be another fantastic version.

After a bit of youtube searching, I found videos from the location test of the SPA charts for some of the preview songs:

From the image on the first page of the thread, it seems that all of the songs from the preview crossfade vid were on the location test; I'll update this post if I find any more videos.

All of them except Volcanic Dragon were in the location test.

Hoooooly shit, Infinity Mirror just took me into the dimension of Infinite Smooth and then NEWALONE knocked me straight back to earth. New Beat in IIDX, hell yeah!!

There's no way that Akhuta song doesn't have a 12 chart, but I'm into it.
