UPDATE 20230911
Changelog:
- Fixed lamps graphics and behavior in some situations on ScreenSelectMusic. (FINALLY!!!).
- Added GRANDPRIX logo option to the TitleMenu.
- Added new fonts symbols.
- Added new graphics.
- Added new sounds.
- Added GoldenLeague animations to DDR A3 White Cab Version.
- Temporaly deleted Display Timing option.
- Re-Added new DanceStages system (SuperPhase Update).
- Fixed some DanceStages bugs (not all of them)①.
- Added new system to load the default DanceStages. For example:
-- IF YOU WERE HERE (DDR 2ndMIX) = (X2) UMU MOVIE,
-- IF YOU WERE HERE (DDR X2) = (X2) CYBER.
- Fixed Cut-Ins problem with Random Characters option.
- Clean up and optimization of code.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
①DanceStages has the same problem as always with Replicant-Video stages:
* low FPS
* VideoOverStage option is not working on OutFox.
* Bright bugs.
We tried to fix that problem but no result. Sadly, that's up to the creator of the DanceStages system.
We recommend to use Background or SNCharacters system to have the best experience with the theme, but if you don't have any problem about DanceStages system, go ahead.
PD: Fesonic Characters and Stages works fine.
Announcers won't work properly in this theme (as Stepmania too), so you will find some bugs with them.
Any other bug about the theme you probably find out, please make a responsable comment.

Awesome I’m definitely downloading this when I get home.
So for characters/stages, I have Next Phase installed. Should I back that up and install what is in GitHub to get characters/stages to work then? I’m assuming Next Phase will just return a black background in gameplay with your theme?

Review time!
This theme rocks. For being so early it's very well put together and really seems to support every modern version of SM5. While unsupported, I used it on 5.1-new and had zero issues. The issues that existed in the A20 theme with 5.1-new seem to all be fixed with this theme, which is great. I've been messing with it for about an hour with no issues at all so far. It looks nice, performs nice, and plays nice. For all these assets being ripped out of line out footage and cleaned up, they look damn nice. The only thing that is noticeably not an official asset is the background since it moves in the arcade. I'm sure this will be improved with updates but for a first release this close to the release of the arcade game, this is so impressive.
For anyone who was using Next Phase dancers/stages, I recommend putting those into a .zip file so you don't lose them for when you go back to any theme you've modified to support them. All Next Phase stuff just gives a black screen in game play, but the November Update works as brilliantly as it ever did. Scrap Rabbit's Classic Character pack also works with the November Update, so if you like using the 3rdMIX and 4thMIX characters you can add it in there. It's kind of inconsequential going back to the November Update for me since I use (3rd) Devil Zukin and [HP] Emergence 99% of the time anyway.
So yeah, it's definitely worth using. It's nice looking and a very fresh look after a few years of A20 based themes and STARLiGHT. This will be my daily theme for DDR stuff for a while. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress that you guys make with this.
Oh and since the first post asks for suggestions, I have two.
1) Can we get a toggle for the judgement bounce? I know it's accurate to the arcade right now, but with faster sequences I find it distracting.
2) Can we get a toggle to turn off the menu music while on the song select screen (like when changing folders) and the results screen? It's nice when streaming or recording to not have to talk over the music.
On your own time, no rush please.

Thank you guys for your kind words <3
Yes, as I said, I won't redistribute nothing about Next Phase, so please get back to November Update.
Got it! Nice request lol

Hey Curling, curious but would you be able to make it so that we can navigate the menus and song selection with our dance pads in regards to playing on OutFox? On 5.0.12 the speed function doesn't work so probably never knew about it. I know you have it a certain way and that's a-ok. But having to switch from dance pad to keyboard just to change songs is a tiiny bit annoying. Do you think you could maybe add an option under setting for those that want to be able to navigate everything purely by their dance pad. As it is right now we need to have dedicated menu buttons which makes sense, but if you switch the setting to game pad it lets you navigate the menus, song selection ect via entirely your game pad the only thing that happens is the left and right arrow when playing the game will cause the notes to increase in speed.
No worries if it's something you don't wanna do, was just curious is all.

I’ve see. stuff about controlling SM with a dance pad a few times over the past few days between here and Reddit, am I the only one that just uses the keyboard in the same manner I would use the buttons on an arcade cabinet? Everyone else seems to want to control it with the pad but that’s so cumbersome.

For me it's just more immersive since my l-tek has pretty much all I need on it to navigate. That's pretty much it. Nothing wrong with options.

Thanks for making this so quickly.
How do you get the BPM display on the gameplay screen like Yuisin has? I've seen a post about it before but I can't find it.
It might be useful to make this a feature that can be toggled in the menu.

You can actually do a BPM display! On the title screen, scroll down to "Options", then go to "Theme Options", you can change between name display and BPM display there.

Nice! Now my next question is can we get the groove radar to show values over 100? I didn't see an option for it.
(or can someone tell me how to do it)
Edit: It seems like the groove radar is bugged for additional difficulties for Lesson by DJ? It takes the numerical values from the last chart scrolled from and displays a larger version of the actual groove radar. I haven't seen this with any other song. This song is not in a DDR folder.
