So I have a venerable Cobalt Flux (with a couple control boxes including USB-compatibility) and want to try playing the DDR Universe games. Years ago, I remember seeing some folks online building their own control boxes out of a Konami DDR mat for the 360 or else modding a handheld controller to work as a control box. Are there any step-by-step instructions for doing that kind of thing? I can work a soldering iron but my electrical know-how is pretty limited.
But I know we now have things like the CronusMax Plus which are mostly aimed at fighting game fans to use their fancy arcade sticks on multiple consoles. Has anyone tried using that with a dance pad?
So now that it's 2018, what's the best way to get a CF working with a 360? Can I just get a Cronus Max Plus? Do I still need to cobble together my own control box?
