I chose Team Past because it would be nice to experience the 80's and 90's arcade scene. I almost considered changing teams to Team Future because of the sheer amount of Team Past entries and because I'm already known for the boomer picks, but that feels like that's going against the spirit of the contest. Anyway, here's a jazzy song from pop'n music 7 that goes for a Betty Boop-like feeling, so it's Team Past in more ways than one. Surprisingly, it's not a song with swing timing for the most part. Enjoy.
Update 12/14/2024: Decided to do some extra playtesting, and decided to tone down the Challenge chart to make it smoother and altered pretty much all of the Single charts. Looking at a few DDR 15s of similar BPM (e.g. Urban Life), I ended up deciding the CSP is not a 15. Also made some Double charts just because I had the time.
Update 12/15/2024: Minor last minute update, found a repetitive section at the end of the ESP, so I changed it slightly. Everything else is unchanged. |
