Comments | From the KAC 2023 Qualifiers for beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT and SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR Been a good while I like to imagine what kind of a chart this would have been if it were in DDR. From a while back, I recall wanting to initially bring it up to a 17, but ultimately, I kept the chart simple and straightforward. Much like the song, the patterns gradually build up in intensity in a gradual manner, slowly taking up one's energy to keep up with the song's momentum. Other tidbits: the drills were an almost direct-pull from the middle of the verse of DUAL STRIKER in DDR: simple and effective. Pattern right before those drills are slightly taken from Stylus's EXH chart in SDVX. The bare minimum of the rhythm at the beginning of the drop is based off the ANOTHER chart from IIDX. I can't recall if there were any other references I made but I don't think there were anything else I could directly callback to. Other than that, enjoy ! If I genuinely have extra time, I'll consider lower difficulties but no promises at all; thank you |
