| Comments | I feel like I have some explaining to do because otherwise this might just look wrong. This song is from SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR and it is relatively new, released around 2 months ago. The jacket that you're seeing is the one that it has in the game. I didn't create or choose this! This is not my thing! I swear! >///< (though I did step Mist Tek as well...) The graphics quickly became an inside joke (of course) and it is noteworthy that in SOUND VOLTEX, some songs have different jackets depending on the difficulty you play the song in, and this is one of them. And the NOVICE jacket for this song... What are they thinking? Respect to KING for having the balls to do this lmao. I do really like his art style to be honest. Some might be familiar with it from two of his IIDX videos - TECHNOPHOBIA and 天邪鬼. When t7r uploaded this skeleton (thanks btw ;P) he provided a different set of graphics. If you don't like the original graphics (maybe the feet distract you too much from playing) you can get them here. But who would do that? Finally, as for the song and the charts themselves, this was actually kind of a hard and long ordeal. The song has is very multifaceted and has a lot of quirks that I had to account for. Additionally, the Expert chart went through multiple revisions. Originally, it was going to be a much more stream-heavy, low movement type of 16 featuring some footswitches, and one section was going to have a part that you could either play as if it had jumps or brackets. In the end, the final version is a more movement-focused difficulty curve modern DDR style chart, as I feel more confident that this might work towards my favor. I am fighting for first place here after all. Maybe it can work? And this marks my final zenius contest file of 2022! It has been a great time. Thank you all, and enjoy! <3 |
