Comments | This 1974 chart-topper is commonly mistaken for a Neil Diamond tune. And it's not just because of the vocals. They even look alike!![]() ![]() But lo and behold, it is by Andy Kim, a Canadian artist of Lebanese descent. While this is his most well-known song, he actually had 6 other US Top 40 hits, including 1 other Top 10. (1969's "Baby I Love You") He also notably co-wrote an even bigger 1969 hit: "Sugar, Sugar" by The Archies. Oh, and it was also famously used in a Jeep commercial in 2007: |
