Comments | This house song from 1997 was produced by German act 2 Eivissa, produced by Luigi Ricco, David Lacera, and Ambrogio Crotti. Terri Bjerre and Melannie Molinnus were fronted on their 1st album, Jane and Francine (aka 2 Blond Bandits) were the live act until 2000, and Jobel (Lian Ross), who replaced Terri Bjerre after she went solo. This was a hit in many countries across Europe, notable placements include charting for 9 weeks in the Top 100 of their native Germany (peaking at #43), #13 in the UK (#8 in the UK Dance charts, I thought it would do better), #10 in the US club charts. It was also surprising a #1 hit in Spain (maxi-singles chart), actually replacing Alexia's Uh La La La as the #1 song on the week of June 23-28, and then falling to #14 the next week, although it was in its 7th week when it reached #1, and the maxi-singles chart was a Top 15 chart, 2 Eivissa would re-enter 2 more times after falling to #14, even managing to get back to #6 in its final week after being off the charts for 2 weeks. The success would allow 2 Eivissa to continue having good runs in Spain, but aside from a small placing in 1999 with I Wanna Be Your Toy whiched peaked at #94, they remain basically a 1-hit wonder elsewhere. Due to the average difficulty in the final round before the V.I.P. Room rounds, and with a good point gap from the cut-off, I decided to experiment like with Funky Beats if I can do well with a easy song, it's probably one of if not the only charts that could fit as a DDR charts, to fit the criteria 20 points for doublesteps focus, at least more than 10. 10 points for stepjumps focus, at least 10 or 11. 10 points for crossover focus 10 points for jackhammer focus All together 50 points, the minimum required for this round. (though I wish there was someone who could check to see if the chart is legal.) Artwork, graphics, and song are owned by their respectful owners. |
