| Comments | Going back to UK/Ireland DJ John Robinson for this round, in a collaboration with eataninja for the ZIv Academy at SC2022 comes Kecak, the trance tribal dance tune from IIDX Red! Developed in Bali, Indonesia, in the 1930's, Kecak is a form of music drama and Balinese dance. This track was made long after John Robinson made his last release under Avex Trax with Everything's Gonna Be Alright (from the 1st round of SC2022) in a span from 1999 to 2004. Both are made by the same artist, making John Robinson a commission artist, not a Bemani artist hence an exception to me typically not doing Bemani tracks. Plus, there's only 2 other simfles for Kecak in ZIv beforehand, and that was apparently updated about a decade ago I think, though there are some at stepmaniaonline. The cover card for the jacket, Fire King Avatar Barong, was chosen as it was based on Barong, a lion-like character/creature in the mythology of Bali, Indonesia, the same place as the origin of the tradional tribe dance known as Kecak! Credit to my partner eataninja for doing the Expert chart along with me as well as doing the lowers. I took care of the graphics and the audio/video cuts. Artwork is Fire King Avatar Barong. All other graphics, artwork, and song are owned by their respectful owners. Fire King Avatar Barong: Level-4 Fire Effect Beast Monster (Attack:1800/Defense:200) Effect: If a face-up "Fire King" monster you control is destroyed by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During the next Standby Phase after this card was destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 "Fire King" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Fire King Avatar Barong". |
