| Comments | Here's another denpa track - from one of the IMO most underrated song series (at least on zenius) - the Camenana Kanade theme songs. This is one of the earliest entries of this series, from SOUND VOLTEX II, so it's quite old, but still holds up very well IMO. This song is about the struggles of math, and I can definitely relate; math is something I've always struggled with. Still, the song is amazing. It's always crazy to see when looking up if any of these songs have been stepped on zenius before, these songs NEVER showed up. Why?? I can't believe it. The Expert chart is about what you expect from myself but maybe slightly less heavy on the 16ths than usual, given that this song is very, very fast. If this had any more 16ths, it would probably be too unbalanced in terms of difficulty. The song also features what sounds like 24ths, but these would be really awkward to hit at 192 BPM. Additionally, the Expert & Difficult charts also feature shock arrows. What would have been strongly illegal only a few weeks ago is now totally fine within original DDR, and we have that one A3 song from that pesky 2D story game to thank for that! In case it's not clear, this chart fulfills the "skittles" requirement, there's a couple of 12ths at the ending. I said in the Discord when the contest started that I've been listening to less denpa and more techno / rave / hardcore etc. lately (still true!) and wanted my song choices to reflect that, but these 2 songs just made too much sense given the themes. This is going to change. Less uwu from here on. Please understand.
