| Commentaires | I was reserved with the mines in the edit for the original Disconnected. Mines are everywhere in my edit for -Hyper-. There was an idea I used in my Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix) edit where I refrained from using the 1P Left / 2P Right arrow and decided to revisit that idea for the beginning of this song. I added a column of mines on the unused arrows to create a feeling of claustrophobia. The original idea was to then add a column of mines on the 1P Down / 2P Up for the second set of streams but found it too restricting. I decided to shift the column of mines inward and created the stream around it. After the claustrophobic mines, I exercised on a spin pattern across the two pads. Due to the placement of the jumps, I decided to use a wall of mines to force sightreaders into the proper footing for the spins. The cymbal bells that are heard towards the end of the song give a subtle implication of syncopation so I decided to accent them with forced double steps. Double stepping on the freeze arrows is a must or else you'll scramble across the pads. The song starts and ends with variations of hopscotch jumps. 2020-12-29, 23:12 |
