Comments | Heavy charted in 2015, Challenge being a minor edit of Heavy that I made in 2016. It's the best song out of Final Fantasy V, one of the few Final Fantasies that are famous for initially not being released in America. (The other two are II and III, both for the NES. We didn't officially get II until Squeenix ported I and II to the PlayStation; we got III through its DS remake.) Why is this the best song out of FFV? Because it's intense, and the two charts I made for this song accurately reflect that. HEAVY: A tough and relentless chart. Y'know, it's almost like Gilgamesh himself. Jumpstreams, several hands, many jumps throughout the midpart and a few freeze arrows are what you'll see here. Unlike my first version of Megalomania, I put lots of effort into making this chart for CotBB good. CHALLENGE: I made a few minor edits to the Heavy chart here. They are: - Replacing a few jacks with triplets. The jacks are before the midpart. - Two 32nd bursts are replaced with 24ths, even though I liked the 32nds more. - I added a hand I forgot to put down somewhere near the end of the song before it loops. And in case you're curious, I've only played a little bit of Final Fantasy V. I blame all of the minmaxing I force myself to do in any RPG that allows me to alter stats via new classes. |
