| Comments | As per Wikipedia, Atropos "was one of the three Moirai, goddesses of fate and destiny. Her Roman equivalent was Morta. Atropos or Aisa was the oldest of the Three Fates, and was known as the "inflexible" or "inevitable." It was Atropos who chose the mechanism of death and ended the life of each mortal by cutting their thread with her "abhorred shears." She worked along with her two sisters, Clotho, who spun the thread, and Lachesis, who measured the length. Atropos has been featured in several stories such as Atalanta and Achilles."
I just heard this song for the first time about three and a half hours ago. It was on a short list of songs I found scouring the Z-I-v songs database that fit the theme, and it seemed like the song that I could most easily step quickly. Atröpøs is a frenetic, hectic song with lots of tricky rhythms. Expert is a hard 9, probably could have been a 10. |
