| Comments | Well, Rainbow, I was planning on biding my time so I could see if my pick would stack up well against yours, but now it's the weekend, so my hand is forced. In any case, here's Swimming Pools (Drank), a dark little track depicting the less savory sides of alcohol, including the seemingly neverending pressure to go further and the lack of inhibition resulting, all disguised for radio with a pressurer's egging to go further with a "swimming pool"'s worth acting as the chorus and serving as irony for the song's narrative. As for the charts, most of them resemble the sedate nature of the song, but the Expert goes all out, using Lamar's trill notes and an extended triplet segment to full effect. Also, there is some slight live BPM to account for Lamar's slightly delayed vocals in the chorus. I think these charts work well on their own, but I feel even happier that they could be for a song with this type of message, and hopefully you voters can agree! LATEST UPDATE (2nd time): Forgot to rename the script for the video and graphics (for particular intolerant versions of SM) and fixed it. Redownload that if you already got it! |
