| Comments | DRONE - MoraffWare (BPM: 108) SP: 1/3/5/7/9 MoraffWare (now Software Diversions) once included quite a selection of music files with their collection of games. Most of the pieces are classical music, but a few are very different, like this science fiction-themed one. Originally this was a MIDI file (in fact, so were all of the MoraffWare music), so to repurpose it for a simfile, I have piped the MIDI file through a soundfont and came up with the resulting music. As a result, what was once science-fiction now seems a bit closer to ethnic Japanese, which is not a bad thing, I have to say. Timer Rabbit has graciously provided her graphics skills to complement this simfile. Beginner is a simple chart. Basic is all about taps, with some freezes and spotty jumps. Difficult has simple 8ths, freezes, and jumps grouped in clumps. Expert is the same but incorporates more 8ths and the faux 5-beat, which means a good number of 16ths. Challenge is, for a lack of description, a SO DEEP chart, but has considerably more freezes placed as tricks and traps. Basic and Difficult have 17 freezes while Expert and Challenge have double that amount. Enjoy!  |
