| Comments | Boom Boom Pow - Cast of The Kitchen Musical (BPM: 130) SP: 1/4/6/7/8/9 The Kitchen Musical is an Southeast Asian-produced drama musical series which, as creator/director CheeK describes it, is a mix of Glee and Hell's Kitchen. Currently the series is enjoying a Eurasian presence with a US version to come. As for this song, it is exactly the first song featured in the series' first episode, a cover of the same popular tune by the Black Eyed Peas. And since the opening theme of the series sounds like it was based on this song, I've included it as the last eight measures to close the simfile. Beginner is a simple chart. Basic has a good number of jumps with accompanying freezes and continuous 4ths in the second half. Difficult has plentiful jumps and the 8th beats are made apparent. For this simfile, I've included three upper-level charts: an Expert with 16ths in faux triplets and broken 8th streams, a Challenge with harder 16ths and continuous 8ths, and my customary 9 as an Edit which includes 16ths in various guises plus more 8ths. Expert and Edit are relatively balanced in freezes and jumps while Challenge has some emphasis on jumps. Enjoy!  |
