| Comments | Matsuri - Kitaro (BPM: 104) SP: 2/5/7/9/10 The musician Kitaro (not to be confused with the ghost boy Kitaro) has been delighting the world with his New Age music since the 1980s or so. Here I present one of his most well-known pieces as a simfile. (Obviously there is no relation to DDR's Matsuri Japan.) This was originally designed to be an entry in the Mini Fall Contest, but since that has been canceled, I have shifted it to War Games. Steps lean toward the hard side, like a minor boss song. Beginner is a loaded simple chart. Jumps and freezes are the main difficulty features in Basic. Faux triplets and 8th bursts enter the picture in Difficult. Both Expert and Challenge contain 16ths in droves; Expert has fewer clusters and one major run, while Challenge is stuffed with them and comes complete with a 62-step run at the end. Not a required to change, but if anyone wants to have something going on instead...
I have the .PSD files if anyone wants/needs the Japanese text ver. Oh and probably sharing that full illustration. It's like a giant wallscroll that I felt bad for using, but it really fits in my vision!

I am.. This close to change make my own version of the graphics, only because the visualizations (semi-transparent movies) mix with the graphics makes it hard for me to read the steps. ^^;
