I found a song that fits the requirements but either has a weird BPM or a live BPM. A live BPM would be weird because it's mid-90s R&B. :\
Don't really want to step another boyband song but I guess if it comes down to that... :\

sametho, I'm stumped
just a quick question, if you entered with a partner and the partner votes, you still have to vote right?

If one person votes but the other one does not, the file still qualifies. The person who did not vote will not get the final points though.

Hey have you heard of Mambo No 5?
Well this isn't that.
Presenting Scatmambo, from Scatman's final album, Take Your Time, released in June 1999.
Click this link or the banner for download.
9 / 5 / 3
So this ended up being fairly DDR throwbackesque, mostly because I couldn't make a good 7-8 that would have been hard (the 9 would have been expert). Fair bit of crossovers are present and a decent amount of rhythmic variety given especially that this is a Scatman song. I even got to pad test this one since I finally found a machine with customs on (for now haha).
Glad I remembered Scatman because all the boy band songs I wanted to step were too late, so they were out.
APPEND: misentered in the file page, there aren't any speed changes. The files are all correct so you don't need to get the files again if you already did but I entered the info wrong.
APPEND II: for the off chance you downloaded this within the first 5 minutes it went up, please do so again, needed to touch something up.

oh hey look a PS1 soundtrack
Hong Kong Crunch / TM2 Music Team
1/1 3/4 5/7 8/11 10/15
I went through a ton of songs this week (mostly PS1 soundtracks), but finally I ended up settling on something from the Twisted Metal 2 soundtrack. For those who need confirmation on the artists' gender: TM2 Music Team consists of Chuck E. Meyers, Tom Hopkins, and Lance Lenhart. Quick link to GameFAQ's credits info on the game for the sake of proof. (under Music Composer / Producer)
Apologies for the lousy cut at the end. Couldn't figure out a good way to make the cut, this was the best I could do.
FUN FACT: At one point I was considering stepping Livin' La Vida Loca just for shits and giggles.

@warpdr!ve Honestly, I originally wanted to step one of the Scatman John's song too, but I don't have motivation to step them.

Could someone please direct me to the full week download pack for ZIv Academy III? It's voting time.

There's a link on the first page that takes you there, just click on the SC 2017 banner
Post #576 · Posted at 2017-06-18 07:39:27pm 6.8 years ago
He means a download link of just the ZIv Academy III files, not the entire category.
As far as I know nobody ended up making a Round 6 pack, I checked the last few pages and I can't find a link.

[BRITPOP]
Beautiful Ones // Suede
99 BPM / 1:59 / :1 :2 :5 :7 Suede are an all-male Britpop group, and this song is from 1996. They initially had a female in the group but she left by 1991 so it still counts. I have a lot of time for Suede, they were always the third wheel in the "Oasis vs Blur" battle of the 90s and it's only now that it seems they're getting properly vindicated because they made some proper good stuff.
Two things of note:
1 - The graphics are from the single art. Yes, really.
2 - I made this in about 45 minutes after procrastination bit me in the testicles. I don't expect points, honestly.
