I've been too busy this week and made this in less than an hour while I actually had the time to do so (from the song cut to completion of the chart).

Probably not a cheerful song like the others but still follows the rules at least.

Well this round was a mess for me. There was a song I had in mind that was kinda dubious but I never got a solid answer from oni on whether it was allowed, and honestly my stepping music and this theme don't get along well, so uh, here you go.

Direct from Pump Prime 2, now you can experience this kpop banger without having to experience Prime 2's imo mediocre charts all over the board.

Even at challenge this chart is more straightforward than my last two but there are a few tricks. Expect complexity to ramp back up again when the theme lets me play my strengths better (that being said I love this theme as an idea, but not for me actually doing something).

Admittedly I've never really watched or been that interested in Eurovision, but I am a fan of many songs that have come out of the contest such as Gina G.'s "Ooh...Ahh Just A Little Bit", so I used that in influencing my music selection this week. "I'm Poppy" comes from singer That Poppy who is best known for her YouTube channel where she uploads her music as well as a number of bizarre, seemingly nonsensical videos. When I first saw the theme for this week, I immediately thought of this song as I think it captures a lot of the fun, bubblegum spirit of Eurovision songs while also featuring some unique quirks of its own.

I find stepping pop songs that are over 2 minutes long can be a bit of a challenge as its easy for the charts to become repetitive and boring. To avoid that, I tried to make these charts slowly buildup the difficultly over the course of the song while also trying to maintain a degree of consistency throughout the chart.

I'm sorry in advance, but I won't have anything for the first 4 weeks because uni.

Anyway, I've decided to make something inspired by the changes that happen this year. It definitely feels more like Eurovision (heck, this week's theme is one), so I made you guys a graphical scoreboard. Now you guys can pretend to be countries lol

I think it would look a lot nicer if you alphabetized ties, so that usernames beginning with "A" were higher up.

I did think about that, but I think it's more indicative to sort the list based on voting points for those with 0 leaderboard points. The rest is sorted by the number of files they have done.

Yeah, I much prefer to see a scoreboard with tabular numbers.

Who says it doesn't? The only guidelines for this week are that the song has to have human vocals and be between.2 and 3 minutes long. The song can be from any country. I guess you're representing Korea in the song contest

I know, I'm just saying I don't have any European songs in my WIP folder, as much as I would like to for this theme.

And yes, I'm representing South Korea even though I'm not Korean myself.

Hey, to anyone that was curious, I got clarification from pandy about that question I had a few pages ago; everything is a clean slate for the VIP round once that happens, so in theory if you win a round you can take the rest of the normal rounds off and still be fine.

Representing Hungary in this year's ZIvision Song Contest, it's the01angel with...

Heheh...this is somewhat of an unexpected song choice for somebody like me, right~? ヾ(ﾟ∀ﾟゞ)
Well, this simfile is actually a dedication to a friend of mine who turned me on to these Hungarians and their music (*･∀･*) They're pretty obscure even in their home country, yet they are really good... I think lots of people here are going to like this song (人ω≦) It's got a great beat, some nice vocals, and was just so darn steppable!

The full song runs at a length of 4:15; to comply with the ZIvision Song Contest round rules, I have decided to shorten the song down to 2:15. The cut I made is actually rather solid, and it's got some rather interesting charts with BPM changes (o･ω･o)

Also, as a note, NONE of the jacks in the charts are intended to be footswitches. Be sure to keep that in mind as you play. (^_-)-☆

DDR Addict told me awhile back that this song was in ITG Rebirth. I was surprised because nobody gives a fuck about this song. But hey, this is the full version.

EDIT: anyone else surprised that out of all of Ace of Base's hits, the one to strike DDR was... Da Capo? I mean they had that cover of The Sign in one of the HP games but whatever.
