New Stepmania project by yours truly. Here's some notes about this pack.

-The title is to celebrate 15 years of Pandemonium X simfiles!

-X15 is what I’m calling a “soft reboot”, so there might be some classics from way back might be coming back.

First update is live with 2 new songs



UPDATE: Decided to ditch Genres and release songs by Category.

[BEMANI] - Song from Konami Music Games

[OTHER MUSIC GAMES] - Songs from other music games that area not BEMANI

[BE-MUSIC SCRIPT] - BMS from short. Songs made from rhythm game community.

[VARIETY] - Song that don't follow the other categories. Stuff like Licenses and stuff like that goes here.

[COLLABORATION] - Simfiles that involve me and another member of the simfile community.

Also sorry for the lack of updates, I've been feeling a little burnt out on things, but hope to get back into the swing of things.

Anyway new file.



Bump. No new song but right now I'm debating on a few changes.

I learned with newer versions of outfox, you can make ratings by .5 intervals. (for example you can have 10.5s and 11.5s and so on). I might change the rating scale back to classic with .5s. This is the system I've always wanted to do because I'm not the biggest fan of the X-scale. So right now the hold is decided what I want to do with this pack going forward. The only downside to this change is I'll have to use .SCC files rather than .SM, meaning my files with some older versions of Stepmania/Outfox would have issues working. So right now I'm kind of at a standstill deciding

I'm liking the new rating scale! I also feel like it's a bit more illustrative of a file's difficulty than the X scale.

Might end up getting some deja vu in the challenge chart.





megawolf77 also did Neon Paradise in Wave Ravers, the blue shark also shows up in that song's BGA as well.

As for Season 2. I'm going to do something quite different this time. The plan is to do the 20 song update all at once. So might be awhile before you hear something from me in this project. I promise it will be worth it.

Also to much request, Season 2 will go back to the X-Scale rating system.



Hello world, it's been a bit. Don't worry I'm still working on things. Currently I think I'll drop the seasons idea and do more "events". So some events might have a gimmick to them. Some packs will be small, others will be larger. In fact the next event is coming sooner than you think, just in time for the Holidays.

X15 will be getting a massive make over. I am doing away with seasons and just going to upload songs single file and keep it as simple as possible, with new content to be released starting in the new year. Might have some other goodies in store as well. Thank you for sticking with me in all of this, but good stuff is coming.


Heads up, later tonight the category will be closed until the New Years makeover.

I have plans for New Years Day, so let's do this a day early!!!! And we're gonna start the new year with a bang!


Thought doing this would be fitting as this project is kind of a rebuild in itself.

There is no set limit for how many songs X15 will have. It's just going to keep going until I have a reason to start a new project. This is in a sense a soft-reboot of my simfiles.

Small update, just some QoL fixes.

GENERAL CHANGES

-BMS category in the simfile category page is gone, it has been merged with the "OTHER" section. I don't think I have enough BMS songs there or planned to justify having its own category. The Collab folder that was planned will also be in their designated categories.

Therefor there's 3 categories total, I might have aa idea for a 4th category, but nothing set in stone.

Henry Henry re-rate was due to feedback. I'm always open to feedback if you think there's a rating that's not quite right. I'll change it if there's enough feedback with it.


What I love with the system I got going is I can just suddenly drop 18s on everyone without warning.


Apparently tomorrow/(today in japan) is the 25th anniversary of IIDX. What better timing than to do one of the game's most iconic songs?

Hi Pandy!

I already posted a more general note of delight on the XX Starlight server, but wanted to extend my more personal gratitude here. I've been building up a 'favorite songs' pack for use on my DDR machine, and the challenge of getting high-quality simfiles has been a nightmare - goodness knows I don't have the experience to write my own yet! Your unimaginably vast collection of files over the years has formed much of the bedrock behind a great many of the songs I wanted to have on the cabinet, and thank you dearly for all your hard work over the years. Some of the favorites have been 3V0, Binary Black Hole, Dark Fall, GuNGNiR, and Quasar, though the total list is a few dozen at this point!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of the content as it comes!

This means so much and I'm glad these silly little files I make on my free time have not only been enjoyed but inspiring as well. Thank you. ♥

There's 2. This and the last is sort of a "Thank you for playing/Ending" song, this is the final boss.


Next will be the final update for X15, expect some small QoL changes along with the final song/update.

And with that, X15 comes to a close with 75 total songs. As there were some ups and downs, I feel like the soft reboot is exactly what I needed now and giving great songs a fresh coat of paint is what was needed. Overall I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that downloaded rather it be one file or all of them, or anyone that helped out with a few small things or gave feedback. Appreciate the hell out of it.
