Wait, so are we still giving out 15 points even though there are only 5 files left? I'd have thought that number would be lower, at least to something like 10 points if we're to go by previous contests.

Best Chart This Comp: Super Game [Rook] - The use of turns was really clever (and a tad evil), the song reeked of having a ton of stuff to do with it, and the use of repetition really amplified the different parts, and won this round without much of a fight in my eyes.
Most Improved: Spork! - While I was kind of hit or miss on your charts before this, the last 2 rounds were really stellar. Sadly the tough competition this round didn't work in your favor but now I have to keep more of an eye on you lol.
Most Consistent: Feraligtr - You're pretty much the first person I think of when I think of "good stepartist that posts on ziv a lot", so keep being you.
Most Entertaining Chart: Sigrev2 Restep [01angel]. It's in MC if you didn't see it but honestly this is still funny so here you go.
Best Chart By Someone Who Didn't Make the Finals (aka: I Wish More People Voted You Award): Make Your Move [DDRNGGin] - Surprisingly solid and felt like a nice hybrid ddr/itg combo.

Thank you everyone who voted for me! I didn't think I would get to the finals! I will do small reviews for each file this week. 
Backflow (Challenge)
I think the file is actually underwhelming or understepped for my taste. From the first half to the end of the dubstep section, I heard lots of sounds that could've been stepped (for example, the drums from beat 109.00 to beat 111.00 could have been stepped better). Also, the 24ths are actually 64ths. I like the stop gimmicks you've used. Also, the second half of the chart was very nice.
Dance with Cannibals (Challenge)
I think this file is quite overlooked, even though Ferligatr stepped it. I didn't even notice the sound repeats again like what K-Step mentioned because the step variations are super good. I've decided to take a look at the original mix of the song and I think the cut was great since the original mix did "repeat" the same sounds. I don't think it's the stepper's fault for this. The patterning is great and the footswitches adds great technicality (and the mine usage. I don't think I've seen them used like that before) and the gimmicks give a great accent before I cmodded. ;) Overall, this is one hell of a fun chart, especially for those who are into the FA stuff.
Glitch Nerds (Hard)
Again like Backflow, it felt super underwhelming especially since this is a complextro or an electro track. The patterns are okay. It gives off a nice DDR feel compared to the other submissions that give off an ITG feel instead. I wished you would have done a challenge chart; I hear so many other fun sounds that could have been stepped. I really enjoyed the stop on beat 133.00 though. First time I played through it, it scared me. Other than that, I think the chart overall is decent, but nothing really wowed me sadly.
You Can Walk on Water (Challenge)
You did what you could with a trance song like this. I think the steps in general felt a little empty, but I think that's the song's "problem." I am not a fan of the beat switchup, as in the steps follow the lyrics and then suddenly follows the beat. I really like the slowdown in the middle of the chart as is does add a bit of extra variety. From beat 168.00 to the end, I could not follow what rhythms are you are stepping, especially the triplets. I think you wanted to add more variety? :O Other than that, it's an okay chart for me.
I will play them again this week to solidify my judgement. They can change!

Seriously though, I agree. This song was not something I would normally put the effort into and it honestly happened because I ran out of time to find something amazing and went with something I've been wanting to do for years but never actually made happen due to how underwhelming it is. By the time I got the easier difficulties down I was forced to somewhat rush the challenge/heavy and I still had to spend time taking care of "adult responsibilities". Oh well lol
Thanks for all the reviews this year, everyone! I loved being a part of the first Battle Royale and look forward to both the summer competition and the new events that may occur that were mentioned earlier in the thread.

Precisely. Variety is key to making a file that isn't entirely boring to play, and allows for a second playthrough in many cases to get the patterns and rhythms down. It may be just me, but I prefer charts that require multiple attempts to FPC+ due to complexity or gimmicks (when artfully added in), hence files like You Can Walk on Water switching up the patterns and rhythms several times. It did feel a bit out of place with mine usage in 
I have a problem usually with adding to many additional notes - stepping as many things as possible and ignoring the simple additions; in this case using mines to signify the first beat of each measure at the beginning and after the speed changes instead of just adding in a jump or additional taps was my solution. It was more of an attempt to switch things up and create something different from what I normally would while maintaining some sort of an artistic take. Thanks for all the reviews this year, everyone!
