According to the translations, eAmusement services are going to end on June 30 for DDR 2013 and DDR 2014.

I think it's the eAMUSEMENT functionality on the website that's ending, not the game itself - as I thought A was a forced upgrade from 2014?

You're right and yes, all BEMANI games from 2012/2013 onwards receive updates and new mixes from eamuse (although IIDX used install discs for new mixes until Sinobuz.)

I think the level display is good for players that see charts unfamiliar to them so they can get a grasp of their difficulty. There are also level displays in other games like IIDX.

Quick song ID help here.

As I was taking a break between rounds, I watched a demo song play. However, I couldn't figure out what it was called (didn't strike my mind to look at the song jacket on the right side at that time), and all I remember is that:

- it was a full-motion music video (as in, not animated like ERINNNNNNNN!) featuring what I'm guessing is a solo Japanese female singer
- In one scene, there's someone holding an apple, and that apple floats.

It sounded like a fun song to play to...

"Pancakes!"
Can't wait to hear all the complaints about the Challenge charts this time.

I hope there are another set of shock arrow charts. Those have been pretty good recently.

Get Ready For The Next Battle

DOLPHINS

Dance level looks like a cool feature. I'm not that hyped for the Challenge charts this time around, but I hope we get some creative ones like last time.

As a side note, I still remember when Start A New Day was released in the middle of my Hawaii trip, the first time I ever played DDR A.

"Anemone King"
I almost thought Konami and SEGA would collaborate to make a remix of ECCO the dolphin for a second
Too bad that will never happen

That's a really cool QoL change, DDR in some ways needed this for clarify, but i don't like the the final design. I hope they'll change this in the future merging it with the type difficulty like IIDX

Can't help but feel Gradius vibes with that logo.

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

You're all gonna be mad when it's just challenge charts.

Probably just you. They don't do that very often in DDR.

As much as we all would love that to happen, it probably won't, sadly.

"Look at me, I put BBCode here"
Yeah, this isn't like some of the other Bemani franchises where new features get added every now and then, thus begging for new charts. The most recent addition to DDR is Shock Arrows. You want more of those?

Yes.
Konami has shown that they're capable of using them tastefully and effectively. They're more than something they just throw onto pre-existing charts now.
