Personally, while I would love to see more Dancemania revivals, I feel that the most important thing I would hope for in the future would be songs that are more moderate in speed (~120-160 BPM), since they tend to allow for the most interesting easier (level 9-13) charts.

i see them making soft pads, or just reusing your old Wii/PS2 mat, but that's just me
As for more wishes, they should at least update the dancer graphics, models still look they're from 2006.

-Revive some pre-EXTREME era music similar to how they did with hero and the other ones. (would have really preferred hero grandale mix though)
-if they're gonna make the lvl 20 for this mix, might as well do it right with a new MAX song, while we're at it make it 500bpm just to stir things up a bit
-a revamped course mode would be nice. Don't just stick to the DANCE DRILL COURSES too, really go all out and make ones like trick again or slow road of oni or like the CS extreme ULTRA16

While it's good to know that I'm not in the minority on this anymore.
If that's the case you're just better off sticking to SM.

console release? unlikely, though they can possibly pull off a INFINITAS

I've a buch of request for a new DDR game (most of them very unrealistic) but let's do it:
- Worldwide release (or al least lower the requeriment for buying pls)
- No more only EDM songs. I really want more variety.
- A lot of Konami Original songs for DDR: Duuuude, they have A LOT of artist if we count also the commisioned ones. They have material.
- Good esque-western KO (JAKAZiD, DM Ashura, Jondi & Spesh, J-Mi & Midi-d to name a few).
- An unlock event per month al least: They really wasted the EXTRA SAVIOR system with DDR A, it has a lot of potential to release cool unlocking event but well ... i hope they'll fix that in the future.
- An special crossover event between IIDX and DDR: we already know IIDX and DDR have almost the same age, so why not doing something great? (and i'm not saying cross over songs, also artist: Just like the DIG rush in jubeat).
- More protagonism of DDR Characters, just like SDVX or IIDX (idk, songs with them on the portrails, or movies just like AFA). Speaking of movies: I want more BGAs for DDR.
- The possibility of turning off the announcer (o change it).
- If they need to remove songs, please remove the bad NAOKI song, they have this chance (c'mon, DYNAMITE RAVE is crap now).
- If they need to revive some older dancemania songs (I don't want this to happen btw), is time to show some love for the MAX-EXTREME era .
- A revamped background. This looks like a PS2 game ffs.

- MORE 8-10 RANGE CHARTS (ON EXPERT/HEAVY)
- SONGS WITH CHOREOGRAPHED ROUTINES
- ALL ENGLISH KOs (HELL YES!)
- NEW less annoying ANNOUNCER a la DDRMAX (Maybe Bryce Papenbrook)
- MORE 3-4 RANGE CHARTS (ON BASIC/LIGHT)
- MORE SUPER EUROBEAT LICENSES
- MORE TRANCE MUSIC

I have some things to say about these three.
First of all, the first one might be beneficial for less experienced and casual players - I like it!
The second one would be nice too, if you're talking about routines like Memeshikute which have steps that mimic an actual dance~
As for the third one, it's impossible that ALL the KOs would be in English but it would be nice to have some more English songs...

Artists who've never written DDR originals that I'd like to see:
-USAO (a pumpcore boss song, perhaps)
-Hommarju (just anything in his usual style)
-SOUND HOLIC (pop song with Nana Takahashi most likely)
-VENUS (im not counting Thank You Merry Christmas here)
-NU-KO (maybe with TAG or Nekomata Master?)
-onoken (a dubstep track like Kodomo live)
Artists who've contributed to DDR that I'd like to see more from:
-Y&Co./remo-con (sequel to WH1TE RO5E?)
-wac (it'd be cool to see him try more electronic stuff)
-Dirty Androids (FUTURE BASS NAO)
-TOMOSUKE (something with an English vocalist)
-Ryu☆ (maybe as Seiryu or a derivative alias)
-SUPER STAR MITSURU (probably not gonna happen if im being real)

Most of the 5th mix Dancemania licenses haven't had an arcade revival yet. Bring more Solo Bass/2000 licenses as well. Both need license revivals.

Maybe do difficulty the Pump way. Do away with the "Beginner/Basic/etc." tags and just have numbers. Would remove some of the stigma.
ThisJust so they can pull an Ace for Aces on all the songs that it can work on and also give many different charts to songs rather than forcing 4/3 or 5/4 charts per song.
Probably won't happen.
Same with allowing singles/doubles play in the same set.

I want to be able to use the following speed modifiers more than anything:
1.125x, 1.375x, 1.875x, 4.25x and 4.75x. Maybe I'm acting like a spoiled child but yeah, having these would be extremely helpful.
How about instead of increments, we get some sort of a speed mod dial?

I don't just mean TAG, I'm specifically referring to his MITSURU persona. So far every SSM song (with the exception of Smug Face) has been from IIDX, and I wouldn't want him to mess with the lore.Post #60 · Posted at 2017-10-08 08:05:23am 7.7 years ago
I liked A and how it flowed. I didn't get to play as often as I'd liked to, but it's there and it's good. If it needed anything, it would simply be a Baby-Lon's Adventure 2; but it's a good way to get a few songs for players that aren't good at Extra Stage.
I do think there's a number of older mix songs that should probably get stuffed (yes, I'm glaring at DYNAMITE RAVE now too - but really, does anyone still care about Don't Stop! AMD 2nd Mix or air, either? Stuff like that)... and maybe a pool of like, 20 older song revivals that DDR just feels incomplete without... like SO DEEP, BOOM BOOM DOLLAR (KOGG3 MIX), etc. But that's not even necessary.
I'd like more Last.Note songs. I feel like I'm late to the party in appreciating them, because it took awhile to crawl through the backlog of songs I didn't have scores for, but one day I committed to it, and THOSE TRACKS ARE FUCKING WICKED GOOD. They're great to listen to, they're fun and exciting in their pacing, and their chartwork is the stuff of 12-14
godliness.
I'm okay with Spin the disc and Kind Lady being dead - PROVIDED that their good pacing and fun chartwork is taken into consideration in new tracks similar to them. You could put twelve songs like that into a game, and not one of them would ever get old to play.
Replicant-D-Ultimate. At least I think this is the correct vowel order of Japanese (it's been 10 years since I took "Intro to", correct me if I'm wrong). Personally, I think it should be as grindy as Ignition was... but available early enough into the game's cycle that said grind isn't unmanagable, and tied to the OMES/Encore Extra Stage, instead of Extra Stage... so,
Extra Exclusive AA -> FC Replicant-D-Ultimate stages as OMES -> collect all RDU stages for PFC Ultimate Stage (
unlock ->
unlock ->
unlock ->
unlock)
Finally... am I the only one that wants to see more high-level DJ TECHNORCH songs in DDR?
AFTER READING THE THREAD:
Yes, GRADIUSIC CYBER AMD-G5 MIX needs
charts already. Maybe LEADING CYBER, too.
Kill the Groove Radar Specials and X-Specials. Burn them in fire. Yes, all of them.
I miss Course Mode, too. But let's be real... last time they were any good was Extreme, aside from X2-X3 having a few ones that didn't suck.
I'm genuinely surprised that I'm far from the only one that kind of misses home versions.
But let's be real - they were best when they were one-system; and PC would certainly be ideal. Trying to develop multisystem was probably one factor that killed the quality of 2010 that we didn't expect... and really, they give us this and we'll want online play and I don't really think they're entirely sure what they're doing with that yet. I mean... what are WE doing with it, even?
