Okay, so Extra Stage A is a pretty awesome song, I enjoy it unironically. There's not much else I can say without repeating what people have already said here.

A of Aces is only a ? Welp, the next few weeks are gonna be interesting.

That OMES is vile. Ouch.

I'd wait for more than one note before decrying it as vile. Nothing we ain't seen before, and it's only a 13 so it's probably not as bad as OTP.

I mean its pretty damn obvious the EES is clearly meant to be a reward song for clearing the ES in this case, like Love is the power reborn was, because unless the songs got some stupid difficulty curve theres no way its upper difficulties are going to be higher than a 16 at the very most if difficult is a 13. (EDIT: Fungah has pointed out on his twitter the expert charts a 15 so thats about right)

Its almost a guarantee Endymion will have a challenge chart when the song unlocks properly and Aces is just going to be something chill as a reward (although with how many bpm double gimmicks we've seen in DDR A i wouldnt be surprised if theres a few thrown in just to drag this out a tad further)

Also if i recall correctly didnt OTP require an insane amount of grinding to play whereas from what i understand this is like 5 or 6 credits per play ? I wasnt really around at the time so im not certain, nothing stopping a group of players pooling their money in to play it.

Also as to why the first guy didnt unlock the new song i thought was pretty obvious, he cleared it on the P1 side which you can see in the results screen hadnt actually unlocked everything yet in rinons adventure, so they'd clearly used the P2 side to unlock the song then got him on the P1 side to attempt it and to work towards another attempt at unlocking it, if it'd been done on the P2 side it probably would have unlocked straight away and it'll probably be for a AA or just a clear depending on how harsh it is.

And now to wait several months to fully unlock ENDYMION and ACE FOR ACES without a lifebar.

I was soooooo waiting for someone to make the connection to Sailor Moon.

OHHHH... It takes away all of your HEAT POWER; so no more bonuses to your EXTRA STAGE bar... it might require full HEAT power, which itself is seven credits - so it's entirely possible that you can only attempt this every EIGHT SESSIONS!! :/

Ace of Aces has speed changes, as expected.
Hoshikechi went up to the 13th note and died because of that.
Guess it's going to take some time before learning it again

I give it a week before Ace of aces is cleared

ENDYMION took 2 days to figure out and that was an expert chart

Not to mention the timing in DDR A is much easier/better now. So it should not take as long as OTP did.

There's something so hilarious about passing a challenging orchestral speedcore song and unlocking a slower tune with a mellow piano intro and then immediately failing on the first note. Gotta love that rhythm game lifestyle...

I know it's waaaay too early to call, but I'm imagining what AoA would look like in Nostalgia. Those first few notes remind me of CaptivAte ~jouka~ a little bit, and that's probably why I'm jumping to that, but regardless I can't wait to hear the whole thing.
