I did say earlier that there's more than you'd expect in these games. Honestly though, the lack of character depth is why I do this- Because I'm that kind of person. Is it rude for me to speculate unnecessary things? If it is, I'll kindly stop.

Also, I totally didn't know that you couldn't play Extra Exclusive songs outside of the final stage until now. I should check my facts more often...

There we go, I was wondering when the first truly stupid chart of DDR A was going to happen; every DDR game post-EXTREME has at least one chart that's just straight up stupid; I was wondering when they would finally create a chart that's just truly unreasonable.

Still, it took longer than it did in most games, so there's that.

Is the most possible scenario. It could be so weird they release all the charts (even for Neutrino, when this song just appears last week). Maybe they take a month or a week to release another trio of charts until they reach all of them.

Anyways, i feel i've been bamboozled with this event (at least for me i liked another type of content, and i'm more depressed with other games getting new songs)

I don't know, I...really like these charts?? Like I think this is the kind of challenge we desperately needed. Maybe this will lead to some non-EE songs getting new charts as well.

When was the last version which added a ton of new songs post-release, anyway? I remember the SuperNOVA games and everything before existed before updating stuff with eAmuse was a thing (Which means that Extreme and before didn't really have any post-release additions), and I don't see much new stuff for X2 and X3... It seems like there was a bit for X, but from what I've heard so far no one wants to talk about that. Correct me if I'm mistaken on this: We compare this all to DDR 2013/14, but isn't this basically what all the games have been like so far?

2013 has 100 songs within about a year, whilst 2014 has 94 songs in about a span of nearly 2 years

I still think it's the Extra Savior songs that needed the difficulty, not these former Extra Exclusive songs. Sure, some of us repeatedly asked when we'll see new 18s and stuff, but these charts just look very overkill. At least these new ones please some people out there.

RISING FIRE HAWK's new chart is great, I love it.
New Century's new chart is weird. Missed opportunities, stepping to nothing, but still seems okay.
Astrogazer? Fucking trash. I've never actively disliked a song's chart this much since Summer Fantasy (although I remember some J-Pop song being released right around the time of A that was all staircases, that was also awful but I don't remember the name. Probably a Rio song. Don't care.). This is just poor effort. You don't need to overstep shit, mates. Just go with the flow, bro.

astrogazer is just....gross. All the other charts are fine lol. Hoping other songs get Oni Charts as long as they're good, and as long as this isnt what Konami will only add to DDR A from this point on

Astrogazer's chart is overstepped, but I can honestly say I prefer overstepped to completely and utterly broken patterns.
I find FAXX CSP a more fun chart than HADES CSP any day. And Anti-Matter still the best CSP in existence

New Century CSP only disappoints me because seriously why they could of made that another Anti-Matter or another New Decade and instead they made it a slightly less bad version of PTF, it's still bad (okay it's not actually /that/ bad)
EDIT: Okay I will fully admit it's actually fun for the first half of the song then the step chart maker clearly got drunk or something creating the last half of it

Really that's all I ask, that more 18's be like Anti-Matter CSP, still to this day considered one of the best CSP's in existence.

New Century: OMG two steps attacks at the end of the song.
RISING FIRE HAWK: Good but It doesn't look difficult, in my opinion.
Astrogazer: It's voltage and stream attack in all chart but it's OK, i liked it.

I must be missing something. I think Astrogazers chart looks fine, it fits the song.

The main thing (and the thing most people take offense to) is the fact that a lot of the 24ths are not really synchronized to anything.

The only thing I really have to say about Astrogazer is- Daaaaang, those are some long 16th streams with 24ths interweaved.

Marisa Stole the Precious Thing singles charts have been in the game from the start so saying this is pretty late.

Unless you are only counting singles for this recent update in which case HAHAHA you are missing out on New Century Challenge Doubles, which plays completely different from its single counterpart. It's also the third doubles chart in the game to have split shock arrows (and it is incredibly well done).

Each Challenge is gimmicky, pretty much continuing on the gimmicks present in the other charts to each song (New Century is crossover heavy and Astrogazer is just streamy. Rising Fire Hawk on Challenge is pretty much more of the same with a little more complication). It's almost as if this is what DDR Challenge charts were until 2014 came around and decided to just add garbage for difficulty.

The most disappointing thing was the lack of a new song outside of the two HinaBitter ones (which are great) and simply unlocking the first three Extra Exclusives is a bit of a let down when Come to Life was right after Astrogazer, but considering Rinon rides a dolphin after unlocking Astrogazer has me thinking that next month this will pop up again after the next Extra Exclusive gets added.
