Near every BEMANI game prior to 2014 has been replaced with a link to their Japanese game website, which is this: https://www.konami.com/games/jp/ja/
In their place, KONAMI has made tiny little, boring, barren mini websites describing these games instead, if they even GET pages: https://www.konami.com/amusement/products/search/?cat=am&series=BEMANI
Of course, any references to in-house staff that worked on these games has been removed, because of course they would be.
Just when I think KONAMI can't sink any deeper as a company...
Mind you, this also applies to non-BEMANI stuff like Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill as well.

Censoring two decades' worth of games for no reason than sheer pettiness is kind of a big deal. It also makes gathering information on older BEMANI harder than ever now.
This is censorship of people who have been working on these games, and hell at KONAMI, for upwards of 25-30 years. Just deleting these pages in the hopes of selling a few more copies of Super Bomberman R speaks volumes on how little Konami gives a shit for their older fans. As in, they don't.
But hey, I can play this Love Live ripoff that uses the name of a 24 year old franchise Konami hasn't made a new installment of since 2009. That's so cool.

I thought not giving credit to people who worked on a game was a thing they stopped doing around the Atari 2600/Famicom era...

This is censorship
Please learn what censorship actually means. And the eAmusement pages for all the games still exist. Here's Beatstream.
If anything, this is more like not keeping history of games, which is a different problem on its own. Game companies like Konami, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and whatnot don't see games as something worth keeping information on rather than something to be consumed before moving onto the next game.

I see no problem on getting rid of old game webpages just so they can clean-up their servers a bit.
Just be glad that Internet Archive exists in case you still need to access those ancient info.

Some old pages are archived on archive.org.
Aslo, due to this, Konami remove all old pages from it's server due to space issues.

konami removing archaic webpages from their site as they are no longer relevant (and some haven't been in ages) and served only to fill up server space?

people: lol they just removed old shit [SARCASTIC COMMENT HERE]
also people: get mad at the slightest fucking removal of literally anything to do with their precious DDR
Dickbags, the issue is "Of course, any references to in-house staff that worked on these games has been removed, because of course they would be."

I mean it's prior to 2014 so I would not think much of it. It's likely to save space. Besides, how many people are on the computer going "I need to get on the IIDX Gold website right now!"

What in house staff? There is only Bemani Sound Team.
Then.
Now.
Forever.

See, to an extent, I can get behind this. For example, the beatmania series, which ended in 2002, I'm not surprised by in the slightest had its pages removed, or the CS BEMANI game pages. Konami had already removed the pages for DanceManiax, KEYBOARDMANIA, and ParaParaParadise in the past. None of that surprises me.
But that "making room for space" argument goes out the window when you release games as recent as 2015's Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain had their websites taken down so Konami can advertise Metal Gear Survive over it. MGSV isn't a 15-20 year arcade game; it's a three year old game created by Konami's once in-house equivalent of Shigeru Miyamoto. It absolutely is censorship. The games don't even have a single web page with basic details like most of the old game/BEMANI games do; they just link back to Konami's main games page.
Edit: Oh wait, I'm sorry, the page IS still up...kind of. It's just a never-ending loop of asking for your birthdate and country: https://www.konami.com/mg/mgsv/

I'm sure the people who worked on a decade old game are absolutely gutted that the web page for it that nobody ever went to doesn't exist anymore.

Thanks for completely ignoring the point I made about Metal Gear Solid V.

The pages for jubeat plus and REFLEC BEAT plus went down, too. I give them a few months before they're pulled off iTunes.
