Hometown Arcade (Bloomfield)

Information

Free play arcade located in Bloomfield with a heavy emphasis on retro game classics. $20 all day admission, no quarters necessary. Over 30 classic games from the 70's through 90's, as well as a mix of modern pinball machines along one wall. In addition to the arcade games, there is also a side room with couches and consoles hooked up to TVs. At the current moment, the rhythm game section consists of a single DDR SuperNOVA cabinet and a Sound Voltex Exceed Gear cabinet, although the owner has expressed interest in expanding the selection.

Soft opening was on Saturday, October 26th, 2024. Official grand opening was on Friday, November 1st, 2024. As of March 1st, 2025 they have an on-site bar open to the public daily after 4 PM, and no outside drinks will be permitted. All ages are still allowed, but anyone underage should be accompanied by someone 21+.

They have two sister locations in the state of Massachussetts; the original location in Norwood, and their newest location in Northampton.
