If there's anything to take comfort in, at least it's warmer than Wales.

Geez, in Sweden we've also got problems with the cold weather. Last Monday (or was it Tuesday?) the cold was so devastating that the lights went out in my home. Twice. It was almost -20 degrees Celsius (I don't really know how much that is in the Fahrenheit scale) that evening. Fortunately the temperature is slightly warmer today.

That is weird for Florida. I'd expect that kind of temperature up here. It's 27 F/-3 C here in NY.And my toes are cold.

It's getting chilly here lately too. When that air turns below -15 degrees Celsius/ 4 degrees Fahrenheit, the air becomes way crisper. That type of temperature makes the snow the perfect slickness for sledding Although not the best when it hits your face. Or for snow ball fights.
Side: I find it funny how -40 degrees Celsius = -40 degrees Fahrenheit

I remember on a test in Physics class where we had to convert temperatures from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and -40 C was on the test. I was confused when it came out to -40 F. Either way, that's too cold for me (or anyone) to go out.Post #35 · Posted at 2010-01-11 05:30:09pm 14.3 years ago

The 8 inches of snow never materialised in the UK, so it's all good here, but there's still plenty of snow and ice on the roads and pavements. Not exactly out of the woods yet...

Yeah, it's a bloody nightmare tbh, and what rubs it in is I'd have to walk to work and back in it which takes me 1h 30m each way :/

-17.78°C = 0°F
Snow has turned all slushy in my area now, but still rather cold.
