beatmaniaIIDX20 tricoro must be coming out real soon then if it's part of the Arcade Championship.

I think it was jubeat... because getting EXC isn't that hard in jubeat.
Other games won't be like that I believe. (except RB and DE maybe)

Official site updated to allow online entry (although no details for tricoro and saucer).
The primary change for this year is that all Asian countries outside Japan will be grouped into the Asian Area, and the winner of the Asian Area will compete with other 5 area winners in the final round.
Games with Asian slots available is listed in the Q&A section.
(Columns from left to right: South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Macau, Hong Kong)
...and I laughed out really hard on the Dance Masters stuff.

From what I've seen for the music games in this competition, is it safe to say that DDR is the only one getting new content as a result of the KAC itself? It seems like the ranking songs for the other games don't have that new music smell the way X3 has.
I would include tricoro and saucer, but those games are themselves new, so it would be difficult to say any of the respective games' new songs are new because of KAC.

fantasia received the three vocalist contest songs as well, which are used as preliminary round songs for KAC 2012.

Finals today. Starting very soon.
Jubeat first and then Dance Evolution followed by DDR X3.
Actually, jubeat should be starting very soon. Each event last 1 hour. I'm in the DDR one so I just know mine starts at 11:30 GMT+8 (2 hours from post)
Edit:
Schedule seems to be changing a bit. Jubeat might actually not be today. Hard to say. Either way, I believe some live streams are going on now.

It looks like RIN-GO! will win it. It's all down between RIN-GO! and GAHOU now.
but it might change on the final song.

brossoni could take a big lead here. After all he has the WR on this song by quite a bit. Song is starting in a minute!

really love the scoring system used on the finals. it's more of like an EX point scoring system.
GAHOU's the winner! well done for 513 for being 5th!

So then DanceEvolution and DDR got swapped? That would explain why the former is on now... boo for missing DDR.
What's the format of DanceEvolution's tournament, anyway, for the dork who can't understand Japanese...? They seem to just pick whatever song they know. It's like, some of these are more freestyle and others are more precision, so I'm a tad confused...
Whatever they're doing, kind of awesome to see there's serious players for it. And it's as intimidating as every other tournament.
