It is actually the revised form of StepMania 3.9. It comes in two packs: one is in the final version and the other is the redux version of this SM 3.9..... Well, it doesn't seem to be worthless because StepMania 4.0 is just in its beta version. I will just tell you the features after you make reply so that you can try it out...

Is it OK to overwrite FINAL with REDUX or must I place the REDUX over a clean install of 3.9? I ask because I have a 3.9+ FINAL setup on my external HDD primarily for testing purposes.Final is left up there for developers only; Redux is a refined version of final with more bug fixes and a few updated features.

You can unzip REDUX inside your current 3.9 clean install or a current 3.9+ instalation.
Remember if you unzip you clean 3.9 install: YOU NEED TO DELETE ALL THE CACHE FOLDER before 1st launch. (If you overwrite a current PLUS install, you don't need to delete the CACHE folder.

You got me right there, rateiosu. Thanks for mentioning the features but I just want to add and explain some more features.
In StepMania 3.9+ , you can get to choose so many player options like add more mines just like what you have said and also additional to these are lifts. Lifts have appeared in DDR EXTREME 2 that tends you to find the missing arrow in the whole song and step on it to earn extra points. It's alright if you missed that arrow. In other words, lift arrows are like hidden arrows. There are also many options to choose. Another feature of this is that the autoplay mode is now in the player options mode aside also from its presence in the settings menu. However, this has been a problem in my PC ever since I started launching the 3.9+ Redux.
More features are to be posted at a later time...

I'm guessing it's because the Dance Percentage and the grade, for lack of a better term, do not match.
Case in point...
AA (Cyberia Style 4 uses A+ as AA) but with 88.07% dance percentage...88% DP = A (A- in Cyberia Style)

Am I the only one to have problem with the difficulty Radar once ive overwrite my old SM Plus with the newest SM Plus redux under cybernia 4 and others theme? (and yes i do have cleaned the cache strangely)

just tried it now and it's just error after error. first the avi codecs were missing (it wanted 3.9's) and then it wouldn't accept any noteskin i put in the folder. i tried noteskins from 3.9, 4.0 and even the noteskins it was included with and none worked. There wasn't much of a difference anyway. back to the original 3.9 for me

Make sure you're actually trying 3.9+ and not 3.95.
