It shouldn't be an issue because I would hope that most people aren't stupid enough to move a console while a disc is spinning in it anyway.

Oh you would be surprised.I don't see this as a HUGE deal, as long as it is fixed ASAP. The Early PS2s had the same issue.

Sadly, I wouldn't.I don't see what the big deal is. You move any other system, it damages your disc. You move the 360 Slim, it damages the FUCK out of your disc. It basically punishes you even harder than normal for your stupidity. If I made a console, I'd probably do something like this on purpose.

It's nothing new. This happens when you tilt the original 360s as well. Happened to a friend of mine with his Halo 3 disc.

Some people would be stupid to do such a thing, thinking it wouldn't scratch discs like the PSones.Post #9 · Posted at 2010-06-17 06:06:02pm 13.9 years ago

If I had one and my brother found this out, he'd do it deliberately to break all my games. That's how much of a cunt he is.

Well nothing new. The original Xbox 360s scratched your discs to hell if you did the same.

This is just wrong.
Now I know for a fact that I'm not getting a Silm Goodbody 360.

My God. I was prone to tilting my PS1 from time to time (more likely to happen on damaged or overused discs).
So tilting an Xbox 360 is more damaging than tilting a particular N64 game cartridge (or just game cartridges for that matter).

Oh wow. Although this has been a problem in the start, I think this one damages it a bit more severely. I mean, my friend knocked over my 360 a few days back when playing Orange Box and it survived without a scratch. This was just slightly shaken and the disc sounded like it was in a blender

The thing is that there MUST be something about this in the manual.
That's why I always read these things before actually playing a game or using a new console.
Yes, I am a nutcase. No, I don't care.

I've turned my original 360 before with the disc inside and nothing happened. I think it just matters when the disc is spinning really fast. I bet the same thing would happen with the PS3.
