FEARMIX 2021 is a yearly casual 👻spooky🎃 simfile contest run by the DDRDave Discord community. We hope you enjoy this curated pack of tricks, treats, and wretchedly haunting music!
CAUTION: This pack includes a wide range of charting styles with lots of TRICKS and TREATS around every turn. Proceed with caution, and be ready to fend off the ghosts that you’ll find. MODS, GIMMICKS, Flashing Lights, and Simfiles that “Are An Experience” CAN and WILL appear in this pack. All similes are rated on the DDR X-Scale rating.
ABOUT THE PACK
Over 8 weeks, a new set of simfiles created by the community was played live on-stream by our generous FEARMIX hosts. After the stream, everyone also had an opportunity to vote on which simfiles they liked the most via rank-choice voting (with a small prize awarded to each winner of the week).
The requirements to submit a file are only this: The songs must be spooky!
Maybe the song is from a popular scary/Halloween movie or TV show, maybe the song talks about Halloween, maybe the song is just about demons or ghosts or zombies.
This pack encourages simfile authors to step out of their comfort zone and try something new, regardless of skill level when submitting a file. FEARMIX is, after all, a causal contest that focuses on fun first and foremost!
