| Comments | This is a German electro track from the German act U 96 (Frontman Alex Christensen) from 1998 named after the German submarine. Around 1997-1998, electro music was regaining popularity in the German market, as such, many German acts around the time including U 96 jumped into the breakdancing electro scene with electrifying results. This was in the German top 100 in 1998 for 9 weeks, debuting and peaking at #29. I wish for more people to acknowledge breakdancing in videos plus characters, and I hope this shows that I could be versatile in music selection outside the normal tracks that I normally step. The video contains a performance with the frontman of U 96 Alex C. alongside a 4-member dance crew on Club Rotation, a dance showcase show from the German music channel VIVA (VIVA ran from 1993-2018). |
