| Commentaires | Admittedly I've never really watched or been that interested in Eurovision, but I am a fan of many songs that have come out of the contest such as Gina G.'s "Ooh...Ahh Just A Little Bit", so I used that in influencing my music selection this week. "I'm Poppy" comes from singer That Poppy who is best known for her YouTube channel where she uploads her music as well as a number of bizarre, seemingly nonsensical videos. When I first saw the theme for this week, I immediately thought of this song as I think it captures a lot of the fun, bubblegum spirit of Eurovision songs while also featuring some unique quirks of its own.
I find stepping pop songs that are over 2 minutes long can be a bit of a challenge as its easy for the charts to become repetitive and boring. To avoid that, I tried to make these charts slowly buildup the difficultly over the course of the song while also trying to maintain a degree of consistency throughout the chart.
