Comments | I was going to do the 2012 Icelandic Eurovision entry but as brilliant as it is, it's crazy hard to step, so. Here's 2011's entry, a really adorable earworm of a song. Sjonni was the original writer of the song who was GOING to perform it at the Icelandic ESC national final, but tragically died a few days before the broadcast of natural causes. His family decided to allow it to be performed by a tribute group of his musician friends, and it won the national final. Sadly it came 20th on the night, because it was the year that there were a ton of strong entries (and Azerbaijan bought the win). Anyway, song is 92bpm most of the time, and the 7 is made particularly for fun in mind. Nothing too difficult, but with the song, I hope it's not too easy for you to ignore. Advance warning: there's a slowdown. And it's brilliant. |
