| Comments | Automatic is Utada Hikaru's Japanese debut single (December 9, 1998) from her first album, First Love, the highest-selling album in Japanese history. Automatic was also featured in beatmania GB 2 GatchaMIX for the Game Boy Color. I suppose that was her debut into Bemani? I wish they would have continued to incorporate more of her music into their games. I wonder if there are anymore songs used anywhere else in the bemaniverse. . .
Aside from the accolades and features, This is just such a great song! It's my favourite from First Love. This song is a great showcase of her range, style, and vocal prowess and worked pretty well as a debut single, in my opinion. It's a cool R&B track that has the innate ability to lift your spirits. You could say it's Automatic.
Being that this song was released around the time of DDR's debt, I decided to make the steps for  -  feel a bit more "Old-School", which  and  are stepcharts typical to what I normally deliver, with being a beginner char and feeling a bit more like ITG (even though it's an 8). Overall, a fun song deserves steps that are just as fun, so I tried to make that happen. I hope you have fun too!
