it used to run euromix2 but got downgraded quite a while ago and overall the condition of the cab is horrific so the bad LCD is the least of its problems

This cabinet got a bad LCD conversion and bezel. The marquee says DSEM2, but it's running the original DSEM. Why?
(I'm not blaming the person who took this photo. It's the arcade that has an issue.)
