Hey, Thanks for replying! It’s interesting to speculate the whereabouts of these machines after they leave an arcade.
It’s nice to have DDR in NS again. From about 2015-16, there was a DDR extreme with it’s original marquee at an arcade about a 10 minute drive from me (I’m an hour and a half a way from this one). However it left the arcade. From then to early 2019, there were no public DDR machines in NS as far as i’m aware of. It’s nice to know that there’s still interest in the game, as the facebook page for silverball said that DDR was the most requested game for the last 3 years before they got it.

Hi AFK797! I've looked at both machines and no, I don't believe that the Amusement 2000 Plus DDR (you're right, it was sold before A2020 Plus Laval opened) is the same as the Silverball Games DDR. I doubt they'd drive over 12 hours of from Montréal, QC to Bedford, NS for a DDR USA, then buy a card for DDR Extreme. Other signs:
• The biggest clue is that at A2000, the "Here we go!" glass frame was blank on the sides and bottom; Silverball has the original frame.
• The "Player 1" art was bright and purple (but possibly pink) on the A2000 machine; at Silverball, the art looks faded and damaged.
• The "Dance Dance Revolution" sticker has wear and tear on both machines, but in each case, different parts are worn out.
• I believe that A2000 had red arrows instead of pink, while Silverball has pink arrows.
These machines and bootleg Megamix marquees are fairly common. I own one, but my machine thankfully did not use Megamix software. (I now run DDR Extreme Clarity, DDR SN2, and more.) I don't know where the A2000 machine went. When I called and visited years ago, it was being packed away for a sale, perhaps for a private buyer.
When I visited Halifax, I couldn't find any dance machines. I'm glad you now found a few! Have fun, and take care!

Hey LABcrab, do you think it’s possible that this machine is the same machine that ran DDR USA at the old Amusment 2000 plus in Montreal? Both have the Megamix Marquee, and based off the picture of that machine on your website, one of the pink arrow panels on the p2 side lost some of it’s color, which is also the case for this machine.

I have the same marquee! This simply means that the DDR software was changed to a "looks legit" bootleg, but the marquee wasn't changed. It may be a machine from Montréal.
