Sure.
For the girl and boy, I used this banner:
(I also used some of the background details in this banner.)
The program I used is GIMP. I also screen captured some details from a youtube video of the interface. (The swirls and those stuff) It's basically just smudging around colors and adding sparks.
It's quite hard to explain but hope it helped you in any way!
