That's interesting, thanks PanStyle for the explanation. Seems silly to be changing the grading system so frequently like that.

It's because the score tracker use SN1 grades and not above.
For exemple, to get a A, you need to have beetween 81% and 95% score (i say % but it's a core like this 9 5xx xxx iirc) for whatever difficulty you play.
On SN2, grade changed since to get a B on a song, you need way less point on basic than on expert.

And before SN or SN2 grade system, a lot of other system where there, some more confusing/silly as other.
Imo, you should not focus on grade on cabs from SN to X3 (unless when you start to aim AA/AAA/PFC) but focus on the actual score that you get, your NCs and greats.

The site shows it as a B, but the game gave me a D with the same stats.
