@Silverhawke: Yeah the difficulty meter cannot do the overlapping feature seen in X. If it did, Takuya would of added it in the theme.
Although, I could ask sillybear if I could borrow the metrics used for his difficulty meter for that. It doesn't overlap in red, but it goes up to 20.
I still have to fix a few other places the banner is displayed such as Stage In/Out, Evaluation, Course Mode, and Battle. I wouldn't consider myself an adequate Stepmania coder, so it may take some time for me to get all this fixed up.

IMO If you can't make the difficulty bar overlap, might as well as expand it right up to 20.
