Say...I wonder...Why didn't a pop'n music game come out this year and what do you guys expect from the next pop'n music game?

My running theory was that Konami was too busy with the whole BEMANI Sound Team fiasco to think about pop'n 25, but then I realized that éclale didn't have a very big song list despite lasting for almost 13 months, so they probably wanted to like UsaNeko run for a bit longer to make up for it. Sunny Park had a huge amount of new songs with its lifespan of a year and a half, so it's not like this hasn't been done before. I just hope the next game is announced soon, because I'm going to get antsy if there isn't any new content for a while; I don't pop'n music to fall by the wayside like some other series *coughMÚSECAcough*.
Anyway, 2018 will be the 20th anniversary of pop'n music, and they had PARTY for the 10th anniversary, so my guess is they'll do something like that again. It'd be neat if they could have remixes/revivals of classic songs from the early games.

AWWWW YISSSS!!! This thread is a GODSEND. Finally, now I have somewhere to finally let my Pop'n obsession out and talk about it and all my wishes for next year in Pop'n!
•First of all, I bet they saved Pop'n Music 25 for next year because it's going to be something big and special like Party was; since éclale brought back so much "oldies" and UsaNeko brought back the remixes, I am certain we'll have some in 25 as well.
•I'm also hoping for a beach theme like IIDX Resort Anthem for Pop'n Music 25; I think Pop'n could pull off a beach theme pretty well.
•New designs for older characters! I'm not just talking about redrawn portraits and reused animations like what was the trend throughout UsaNeko. I want to see redesigned characters alongside new characters.
•If we get more Tokimeki Idol songs, can we see the idols in the Pop'n style as characters as opposed to just reused old characters? If they could do it for HinaBitter I don't see why they can't for Tokimeki Idol.
•More crossover songs! I have a list of SO many songs I want to see crossed over to Pop'n, as well as what the characters might be for the songs. I'd be elated if my crossover wishes came true.
