Anyway, Around the Future. Interesting song, not what I'd expect from either Maozon or C-Show. Well, maybe a little Maozon. Those overlays are giving me On the FM vibes. Not my favorite song, but not bad.

Nitrous Cannon isn't really anything special in particular, at least where Camellia is involved.

Very unsual, with the previous ES song being labelled "Bayside -Scarlet-" I expected a series of Bayside songs, each with a different color and a corresponding OMES. Yet the new song is still labelled as scarlet and just leads to Papilio ulysses again. Wonder where they are going with that.

DUE TOMORROW is back. It's available for unlock in ARENA MODE. Not only that, it has a new DOUBLE ANOTHER chart.

Dang, it goes into 7/8 time in the beginning, with a small patch of 3/4 somewhere in the middle. This is probably the best non-electronic song I've heard in this game for a while, and it kinda gives me The Least 300 Sec vibes.

The image below also confirms that City Never Sleeps from REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! has been crossed over, albeit in remixed form.

Honestly never thought I'd see Scott Brown in a IIDX game again. Can't wait to hear what that sounds like,

If I see KnightVision/DJ Ruffneck in IIDX, I will lose my shit, but that'll never happen. XD

Also, I'm pleasantly surprised with The Revolution. I really like how it sounds!





So, not really Cosio's best. It sounds instantly forgettable compared to his Groove Coaster music. >>

And n'pa pa BBQ is... weird. Kinda reminds me of a slower Chemical Cookie ( That does NOT sound like it should be 300 BPM ). Not something I'd go out of my way to unlock if I had the means.

And last but not least:

I like The Revolution, Rampage and the re-work of City Never Sleeps. After that this was a disappointing update.

The last song is kind of a whimper. It sounds like a cut Reflesia song repurposed for IIDX. The chart is overly difficult for the kind of music it is.

Glad I'm not the only one. DJ TOTTO has always been damn good with his songs, so it's weird to get one that's underwhelming.
