my thing with it is that it's getting to a point where i don't understand why they're bothering. like to have "L.E.D.ALiCE-G" and then a subtitle explaining that it's a collab between REDALiCE and In-House Musician L.E.D. is just... why bother with the clever artist title if that subtitle needs to be there?
i'm sure it's a contractual obligation or whatever but it just looks so clunky to have to see it slapped down on everything

I don't understand what the point is because everyone who cares about who made the song would probably know if it's an in-house artist or not. If someone sees SYUNN I'm sure they'll instantly think it's SYUNN the in-house artist and not SYUNN the drunk guy at the corner of the street who sings about a woman named Linda. You don't hear SYUNN on the radio, so what's the point of specifically stating that he's an in-house artist if everyone knows already?

Honestly it's completely pointless and I hope at some point they realize it and get rid of it. It just makes everything clunky and it's an insult to the artists who made the songs in the first place.

P.S. I can't wait to hear that "Middle Eastern Twerk". I'm ready for some straight up booty jams.

Usual Days hyper is a 9? Not sure if I agree with that, unless the chart has changed from 9th CS. Though it has been ages since I've played that chart.

I have to agree with the consensus; Expanded!! is the best song of the bunch. Aside from Son, not gabba now, the rest of the songs aren't something I'm going to grind to unlock or anything.

Same here. I’ve definitely come to expect these unlock events to be mostly underwhelming after the “Our Space War” thing back in tricoro.

I'm going to unlock everything regardless if they're lackluster songs, mostly because I'm a completionist and I hate moving onto other events if the first one before it isn't finished. I like most of the new songs so far, but alas I have terrible song taste., but I do agree Expanded is the best song of all of them. And to be fair the Yellow(Our War of the Worlds) event from Tricoro had some banger songs like VEGA, カジノファイアーことみちゃん, Brave Glow and New Lights to name a few. I even loved キャトられ❤恋はモ～モク

Well, at least for me Expanded!! is a good song, but not the best in this list. IMO, the whole list is just ok, with FIRE BALL and Son, not gabba now leading them. But FFS, DEATH†ZIGOQ is goddam awful (L.E.D. has been doing so bad collabs on the last games, starting with 真 地獄超特急 -HELL or HELL- ... well, 焔極OVERKILL is almost ok but because RoughSketch shares some similarities with L.E.D.)

I am legit surprised they added a Leggendaria chart to a song that involves Naoki. I wonder if they did that only because how popular the song is/was on the internet.

New Lights was the only song I cared for from that event. I found all the other songs uninteresting and/or annoying. I feel that way with nearly every event since then, as I don’t really care for a lot of these newer artists that have entered IIDX.

Oh man, I don't think I've seen a like/dislike ratio on a IIDX vid as bad as the DEATH†ZIGOQ one since...um, what, Konzert V, I guess? Plus the grade-a gray day overlays and the Bemani Sound Team curse don't do it any favors either. Yikes. I gotta admit, I appreciated some of the other efforts, but I'm not really sold on any of these first unlocks either. Hopefully they turn this around in the next set, and fast.
