God, the UNIVERSE backgrounds look very detailed. Kinda wish they'd keep that in future DDR games.
I take it we can replace the graphics on the old UNIVERSE simfiles?

Hi again "pm41224", thank you, but I want to inform you that you missed "VANITY ANGEL" banner from "DDR UNIVERSE" (XB360 USA).

I ripped the same images shown above but from their original .TGA files to .PNG. I think the ones in this post were sourced from the .DDS files (significantly lower quality than .TGA) that were also included in the ULTRAMIX .bin data file.

"MAXIMIZER" banner from "DDR UNIVERSE" (XB360 USA) was down scaled in the simfiles, can you show its native resolution "pm41224"?

Speaking of improper UNIVERSE banners (and a little off topic). I surprise nobody has yet corrected the looks of the power courses banners. The dimensions are correct but the text's font (I think) and size needs work.

I got you covered, man. Also worth noting that the Arial Black I have has a different apostrophe than what is presented in-game, but that will suffice.
Power 1 (acid-tech mix)
Power 2 (Shuffle Mix)
Power 3 (south beach mix)
Power 4 (subTranced mix)
Power 5 (On the Floor Mix)
BGs also included for completion's sake.

To pm41224:
I'm aware that they don't exactly match the banners in-game (both in game mode and in training mode). However, your banners are good enough for Stepmania. May you make the banners for each of the Power Courses in UNIVERSE 2 (the empty banner, the banner to replicate the in-game banner, and a banner with the Power Course number and its title in its subtitle (just like in Universe 1))?
To dancervic:
Back on topic, I hate to be rude but in the DDR GB DisneyMIX - GB JAPAN, you are missing the following banners:
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Mr. Bassman
Mickey Mouse March (SUMMERTIME EXTENDED Version)
May you please upload them to GitHub?

To SDB13:
Sure. They're all right here!
Power 1 (Funky House Mix)
If the white border on Power 1's banner seems off-center, here's why...
The raw image has it at least 4 pixels wider than the rest, so the right side is cut-off ingame. Anyways...
Power 2 (Progressive Mix)
Power 3 (Faster Harder Mix)
Power 4 (Global Mix)
And finally, Power 5 (Aggro Mix)
Like before, backgrounds included for completion's sake.

We are just very far ahead to "DDR UNIVERSE" (XB360 USA) & "DDR UNIVERSE2" (XB360 USA) song variations but the POWER courses banners made by "pm41224" are more closely official in game's select music interface. These must be recommend in the simfiles and these will be posted again when we reached "DDR UNIVERSE" etc.
In UNIVERSE2 POWER courses, I don't understand why they didn't follow the song format appearances in their respective backgrounds instead of displaying only their subtitles in their respective banners. Although these are only customized, I will edit the stepfile title and display as "POWER 1 [Funky House Mix]" rather than "Funky House Mix" only.
To continue...

Not sure where I got this from... but I found it in an old external drive...
It seems like this version of banner used the same font for the artist name as well...
Also, the artist name is in traditional chinese... the one that is used is simplified....
Edit: fix broken link

Since nobody posted an answer to this question, I posted my opinion. Generally I prefer the undistorted, but in this case, I prefer the distorted banner because the undistorted doesn’t leave enough side boundaries when viewed in Stepmaina.

undistorted but slightly differently (filling the top/bottom corners instead of cropping the sides)
