I was curious if anyone on this site was into chess. I'm an avid novice player with a 1400 rating. I play online quite a lot. I'm still learning different openings and such.
I know rhythm gaming and chess don't go hand on hand, but it's likely a couple people on here do play chess frequently.

I'm a novice at chess too! I am in my school chess club and at summer camp last year, I won a big trophy for 1st place in the chess playoffs.

I just made a lichess account too. It's hnkul702 (as usual)

I played chess before and recently, I'm starting to go back into it. lichess, though, not too familiar with it but I'll create an account for it.

Cool, I didn't realize there would be that many people interested in playing chess.

Yeah. I see it more as a nice logical thing to play against others, trying to calculate their moves and predicting what they'll do next. As for lichess that others mention above, I made an account for it. Username should be called iamthek3n, so if any of you want to play against me I'm up for it

I've been meaning to get into fairy chess. For those who don't know, it's essentially solitaire puzzle chess with pieces that sound like they came off of Big Bang Theory. Any tips on where to start, if any of you know anything about it?
